Printed and published by John Aschem of Holborn London and sold by James Pattie Bloomsbury and all Booksellers in town and country 1834, each work or collection has it's own title page also dated 1834, with notes, prefaces and short biography the latter anonymous.Some reference to Medwin's Life of Shelley 1832 . Frontis steel engraved portrait of author to vol I. The unauthorised or pirated edition effectively being the first UK collected edition here offered for sale in its original printers plain binding. Roman numeral and other page numbers re commence for some of the parts making description of the pagination complicated but vol I - 424 and Vol II - 580pp. Good (Books -Heavy rubbing to leather and to paper covered boards, Significant loss to title slips, Small original bookseller printed label to corner of front past down of both vols. confirming a matched set. Endpapers of both vols cracked but mull and cords holding and bindings otherwise sound. Offset browning from portrait to title page. A few pencil ticks to some of the verses of the works but no annotations or highlighting of text and paper of book blocks tanned but apart from a couple of browning spots / foxing to the preliminary blanks the pages are otherwise respectably clean.
