Blue Cloth Boards with gilt titles to front board. 225x140mm. 92pp incl Index. Map + 20 other b/w illustrations. Owned for 200 years by the Knights Templars and subsequently by Sir William Burrell this West Sussex Village has associations with William Penn, Quakers and the Iron Industry. This short history is quite a scarce item and the copy offered by us for sale has the added attribute of being inscribed and signed by the author. VG (Book- A little general shelf rubbing to cloth, no notable shelf soiling. Previous owner name and date to free front end paper, the inscription and signature of the author to reverse thereof.
