Many unspecified full page and in text illustrations, those to part Two - "With the Regiment in South Africa" are mainly b/w photographs which are of considerable interest. The book is essentially a reprint of the various chapters of "The Story of the Regiment" and South African Reminiscences" which appeared at intervals in the pages of the "Black Horse Gazette" in the years 1906-10. VG (Book- Rubbing to extremities of boards- mainly colour loss. Browning to reverse of front end paper with a few light foxing spots thereto. No previous owner name, insc. or annotations. No other notable defects. A sound clean copy of a collectable and uncommon regimental history and account of the Regiment's participation in the Boer war.).
