We cannot testify as to the accuracy of these annotations but they have clearly been made by someone with detailed knowledge of the Salient, perhaps a combatant. The Guide contains an introduction by Noel Mellish VC and each chapter was written by ex-service men and was one of the first guide books issued for those not only wishing to visit and walk the Salient but as a Souvenir to all who from one cause or another could not go, but for whom the Salient had a meaning and memories. VG (book- Pencil name of a previous owner to half title page, Even light shelf soiling and rubbing to covers, No cracks or damage to spine and binding sound). This is becoming a scarce item, particularly in sound condition and an important historical record of the Great War. Price:
