Illustrated end papers, xi +342pp.Fronti colour plate with tissue guard + all other illustrations by the author as expected. 1st Edition 1st Printing of Lofting's sixth Doctor Dolittle Book which preceded the British first edition by a year. The author although born in Maidenhead Berkshire having moved to America in 1912 to pursue his writing career. VG+no d/j (Book- light shelf wear to extremities of boards- mainly colour rubbing.
